Sit, Eat, Play!

Edward has reached a few milestones this month and I finally got them photographed. Actually, I made a few videos! I was never one for filming everything, but since Edward arrived I wanted to remember EVERYTHING!

This month we started Edward on some rice cereal. He really loves to eat. However; after weeks of not sleeping and grumpiness I have decided to take away the cereal. We are on day three without it and he is actually happier and slept better last night! Allergic? Not sure.

Edward can now sit on his own but he doesn't exactly know how to get into sitting position without a little help. Also, he decided today would be a great day to get up on his hands and knees! WAY TOO SOON! Am I really ready for him to crawl?

In other news... I believe he officially sucks his THUMB now! (just like his mommy)

Report...

I have nothing to report from this last week. I think Edward is going through some changes in his schedule and he has been sleeping LESS than usual (if that is even possible). Also, I have been slow at recharging my camera... but I have hope for this next week!! I think some good things are in the future.

5 Months old...

Edward is officially 5 months old today. According to my scale he is a little over 18 pounds and 26 inches long! That is a lot of growth in five months. He started at 20.5 inches and 7 pounds 5 ounces! I wish I could grow nearly 6 inches in 5 months. Can you tell he is basically sitting on his own? A few more weeks and I am sure he will have it down!

So today,

Edward did the cutest thing...

He would wait until I looked away from him, then kick around and giggle until I looked back down at him and say, "what are you doing?" Then he would giggle, AgAiN! It was SO CUTE!! He did this for half an hour!!! He is really starting to get a personality. Did I mention, I LOVE HIM!

One of those...

Months!!

Have you ever had one of those days that you just didn't want to do anything. All you can think about is going back to bed and sleeping all day with the curtains closed. Well that day turned in to a few weeks for me and it looks like it is becoming one of those "months". I was so motivated all of April, May, and part of June. Now I have fallen off the running wagon and can barely talk myself into leaving the apartment.

Maybe it has to do with the rain...? Doubtful. I have enjoyed these lazy summer days. I remember lazy summer days when I was TeN! That is about how long ago I sat around and even ignored the shower.

Well it is time to get motivated again. I have started to dejunk the apartment and organize Edwards room so that he can start crawling around in there and not get caught under some junk. No, Edward is not crawling yet, but he has figured out how to get around the apartment with out my help.

So here is to MoTiVaTiOn and jumping back on the wagon.
